them, organize temple work

out “My Family” brochures with them when they arrive

the FH Centers (there are non-members there)

returning member like a new convert

tell about you?”
· Elder Holland’s video … the Lord
needs disciples … our love and commitment to our missionaries is eternal
· There is no power in baptism, it is
in keeping our covenants … promises are a powerful reason to keep our covenants
· Struggling about what we were before
… we have to walk by faith
· We don’t have to let go of everything
… just the things that don’t let us know our divine identity … things that
might be holding us back
· Our experiences have brought us to
this point in our life … our experiences can be helpful to our missionaries …
we became a set apart missionary
· It is an honor to testify of Jesus
Christ
· We are gathered here not by accident
… the assignments of missionaries are by the Spirit …
· We will need strong leaders in the
Church in the future
· When you are involved in the Lord’s
work the power behind you is greater than the obstacles
· Love is loyalty … there are levels of
love
DAY TWO:

missionaries (planning, Book of Mormon, Divine Identity, etc.)
· The Book of Mormon is a keystone … we
want to be in the Book of Mormon
· “What is it ye shall hope for” …
Moroni 7:41

apply to our work in our mission

parents and home stake presidents with missionaries that are having difficulty
… we need to be involved with missionaries after their mission

missionaries repent, to read their scriptures, etc.

opened … the Lord will direct us (as we knock)

need to also help my returned missionaries (the Saviour loves each of them)
· Feelings of gratitude to the Area
Presidency … we need to now teach our missionaries
· This work is possible with my
companion (Mission President and wife working together)
· Revelation: fill our minds with
knowledge, pondering, fitting process, moments of enlightenment, then the Holy
Ghost changes the questions, take your questions to the Lord, study your notes
and your impressions
